I'd like to think that that's unlikely to actually happen. If Texas law enforcement folks detain anyone outside of their jurisdiction they'll have the Feds down on 'em in a flash - with good reason.

Maybe so - but they're also publicizing what's going on in TX (and other states), making clear the national majority's opposal to this kind of behavior.
