Guy here. That's pretty much been my reaction since I was a horny teen (e.g. "Gawd, that looks uncomfortable!"). Not much cradling my own chest.

I just chalked it up along other uncomfortable things women do. To be fair, this was decades before sports bras (essentially dual jockstraps for your chest) were invented.
