EU nations have started denying tourist entry to RF passport holders. It makes sense, make the "traveling class" feel the isolation.
But now there's a surge of men who might be mobilized. It seems a decision about them is in order. If the EU grants asylum to these people in general it might hamper the mobilization effort and so reduce the number of RF soldiers arriving in Ukraine; stopping them at the border means more of a 'pressure cooker' in the RF, potentially more protests/riots which might eventually unseat Putin.
I can see that there are two options but have NO idea what the right thing to do might be. On top of that, I'm in the US and won't be worrying about additional RF asylum-ees taking my job or raising food prices. Anybody in the EU got an opinion?
