DxO user here. Yeah, I don't like that it doesn't work with Fuji X-trans either, but for Bayer pattern sensors (everything but X-trans and Foveon/Sigma) it's the best raw converter out there, and it has really, really good noise filtering (I'd put it as about a tie with Topaz, each does slightly better on different photos).

Without getting into the the Fuji X-trans approach (trading chroma resolution for luminance) something unlike all the others is going to suffer from network effects: not all raw converters can demosaic properly.

All that said, DxO in its current iteration (PL3) is IMO nearly useless as a DAM. It has hierarchical keywording, ratings, and that's it. Files are cataloged in place. I can't speak to its cataloging speed as I don't use it.
