Just because they want Trump gone, doesn’t mean that they are any less conservative.

Duh! They haven’t suddenly turned into Dems. Part of the principled conservative mindset is to give a sh*t about the country. They’re doing what they can to get rid of someone (and his enablers) who have been incredibly damaging to the country.

We are fellow travelers in this.

You think they wouldn't do this if Sanders were the Dem candidate? I think they’d do it if we were running a can of tomato soup. Their point was to get rid of Trump. They’d just have a much harder job in the swing states with Sanders — or the soup. Go listen to their virtual town hall, there’s a recording of it on you tube. They’re pretty open about what they are doing.

And you think Biden will consult with them on military policy? Really? He has worked across the aisle back when both parties were each a mix of liberal and conservative (but I don’t see how running some ads gives them a seat at that table). I hope he can do the same, although I also hope the Rs no longer control the Senate. Speaking of which, did you at all notice that they’re also doing what they can to get rid of Trump’s enablers in the Senate? They’d have a harder time doing that as well, if the candidate was Sanders.

I was a Sanders supporter in the 2016 primaries, completely gave up on him after the way he torpedoed Clinton. In 2018 it was Warren. But the overarching goal is to get rid of Trump and McTurtle. Biden’s the guy we need to do that, both for presidency and senate — or do you think mostly-R states will elect a D senator if Sanders might be president?
