In the release of Pentagon secret briefings via Discord there was some mention of Zelensky talking about taking some border Russian towns/cities and holding them as something to influence potential negotiations.

Without getting into whether Ukraine should or shouldn't invade Russia, just *talking* about doing that might work as a way to move Russian troops away from the line of conflict in order to protect the Russian border.

Just a thought...
