Decades ago, auto and motorcycle shops had 'degreaser sinks', basically a sink with a flexible spout that degreaser came out of, sprayed whatever it was pointed at in the sink, went out a drain, through a filter and back into the reservoir.

I worked in a motorcycle shop in the 70s, we had one of those (as a service; it'd get swapped every so often as the reservoir fluid got dirty). As I remember, the degreaser was TCE. Pretty glad I was always careful to not let the solvent touch my skin.
