Chinese demographics are beyond bad. The Chinese themselves may not have known just how bad until the last year or so. They probably realize that if they wait a decade, they won't be able to muster the military necessary.

Then, their economy is collapsing.

What happens when a large number of those newly unemployed plus the (probably a majority) of never-employed young people decide it's time to end the CCP?

A war with the West over their 'stolen' province might look like just the thing to unify the country.

China's going to collapse - the question is whether it goes quietly or not. My money's on "not".
