Also, consider a 'body composition' scale. These use a very small amount of electricity to determine your composition (muscles, bone, fat, water). The good ones are $$$; I got a cheapie on sale at Amazon for under $25 which IMO is fine for seeing trends. Even when our weight goes down, the percentage of fat *could* be going up.
