For any non-photographers, GAS stands for gear acquisition syndrome. It’s a common affliction among photographers. No matter what gear you own, there’s always the lure of something ‘better’. I get GAS sometimes, and can usually talk myself down with “are shots using [whatever I’m lusting after] going to be perceptably better to anyone else?”.
