Surprising that that's predictive of an infarction (blockage of blood supply to the heart muscle). Maybe the stress is coming from restriction (stenosis)?
Maybe we don't mean the same thing by 'heart attack'?
Peter Attia had an interview a while back about (skeletal not heart) muscle development and blood flow restriction. I'm not a body builder so I haven't prioritized listening (way too many interesting podcasts out there - and I'm not commuting anymore so the only time I have to listen is while on the rower and eliptical). I never thought that less time commuting might have a downside. :-)
Also, I would *guess* that the predictive markers that are already in use include C-reactive protein? As I inderstand it, that's a marker for inflammation - and inflammation of the arteries often precedes a CVE.
