Sorry, but you lost me here. The notion that a child is responsible for anything their parents (or grandparents) had done is unreasonable. They weren't there. Thay had no choice in parentage.

I understand your anger at what those parents and grandparents had done to your family, but I'd hope a conflict mediator would know better than ancestral blame. There are similar issues in the Middle East where people on each side seem 'stuck' on what parents of the other side did to their parents. Sigh.
