Been there. On both sides now.
Best thing that came out of it for me was not just the appreciation that, as a 50-year-old, I was a youngster (and still am at 70 - each decade has a memorable story in which they showed me I wasn't 'old' yet) but just how f'ing serious shingles is. Rash in full glory, not hidden beneath clothes. Pain shown by someone I knew to be absolutely stoic.
Got the shots then-available when I was first eligible (50) and again recently when Shingrix came out. If you've ever had chickenpox, you need to do this too.
All that said, I've spent a good bit of time at nudist camps. Exactly the same body acceptance but mixed genders. Maybe a bit less sports discussions.
