I've read that Russian forces have been using 50-60 year old ammunition. There were shelf-stable explosives developed in the mid 80s, but they're using ammo made earlier than that. Does that mean they now go boom if you breathe on them? No idea, but it's worth considering - and might explain some ammo dumps in Siberia that have exploded...
Also, once the UAF makes its way to the Azov, the only Russian supply line to Crimea is the Kerch Straits bridge. Supply line for everything, including water and food.
