Agreed. The hope with vaccination was that it would provide a firewall against the vaccinated being infective. It's not, just much reduced (lower likelihood of becoming infected. 70% less time infective, and probably fewer particles).
On top of that, there have been no decent studies on 'natural' immunity that comes with infection, but it's probably comparable to vaccination at a minimum.
BTW, did you know that there's a Lyme vaccine? It's for dogs, not people, due to the costs of FDA studies and the possibility of being sued for a bajillion dollars. Maybe mRNA tech will make it enough safer than an inactivated bacillus vaccine that that'll change. Also, if you're in a lyme area, google 'tick tubes'.
