Agreed on vaccines (and boosters) - but if there are any potential therapies, it's worth a study - particularly with something as available as this. We're starting to see variants that can get past acquired immunity (natural or vaccine - even the bivalent).
As it is, I suck on zinc acetate lozenges if I wake up with a 'scratchy throat'. So far, with a 50/50 effectiveness rate (but the first time I forgot until the second morning with a raging sore throat). I'd guess it was a 'cold' (rhino, corona, adeno, entero) virus but WTH knows? Through the pandemic, I pretty much forgot what it was like to get a cold.
