Agreed 100% on people needing to spend time in a wheelchair and using a walker. I got exposed to this one summer in Jr. High when I was a volunteer at a camp for handicapped kids. Day one for us (before the kids got there) was spent in wheelchairs and on crutches. Good luck opening a swing door (with spring closer) that opens *towards* you from a wheelchair.
Those of us who are able bodied need to remember that it's a potentially temporary situation.
BTW, the camper I was assigned to, who had to use leg braces and crutches (the ones that brace on your lower arms) could zip through the woods faster than I could run to keep up.
